At Boulevard, our Director or Payments will develop, lead, scale and manage the Boulevard Payments team. End-to-end responsibilities include strategic initiative planning and execution, team management, Boulevard Payments customer success, and day-to-day operations. The Director will partner cross-functionally with Sales, and Customer Success to drive best-in-class customer experience. in addition the Director and their team will collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Analytics teams to increase operational efficiency and scale Boulevard in a hyper-growth environment. This is a unique opportunity to take on a critical management role at a fast growing well-funded venture-backed SaaS startup.
- Develop and evolve Boulevard’s strategy, organizational structure, and functional processes around payments, domestic and internationally
- Define, hire, lead, and manage the Boulevard Payments team
- Own and deliver a best-in-class, truly delightful, Payments experience to Boulevard customers, prospects and internal teams by strategizing, prioritizing and managing end-to-end communications cycle for customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain and drive accountability through KPI establishment and metrics management, internally and customer-facing
- Become a subject matter expert regarding Boulevard’s payment solutions, deeply understand and evolve our payments value proposition
- Identify specific customer needs, and develop impactful and value-driving solutions through well-defined process, policies and procedures
- Serve as the escalation point as needed for Sales and Customers Success on Payment related customer issues, which are almost always highly sensitive and urgent
- Understand market dynamics around payments pricing and define Payments pricing strategy
- Own all payments data analysis
- 8+ years of experience in relevant field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to act as a positive, self-motivated leader who can inspire others to rise to new challenges
- Drives progress cross-functionally and very comfortable working across complex organizations
- Metric driven and operationally minded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
