We are searching for Vice President of Business Development, Salesforce to add to our fast-growing team. This individual will be responsible for shaping the strategy and growing the Salesforce Practice across all of Bounteous competencies including sales, marketing, and delivery  (with an emphasis on sales and growth). This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of what has been identified by Salesforce as one of the top 1% of new partners to join the ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving sales and contributing to the identification and prioritization of team member time, new headcount allocation, and Bounteous capital with the objective of growing a profitable business unit within Bounteous. 
Successful candidates will have sales leadership and expertise taking a proactive approaching working with multiple stakeholders to achieve aggressive goals. Ideal candidates will have experience incubating and growing successful Salesforce practices or service offerings. 

Role and Responsibilities

    • Directly qualify and close deals (player)
    • Develop and lead team to generate, qualify and close deals (coach)
    • Partner with Bounteous marketing team members to plan and execute marketing events and initiatives 
    • Execute sales best practices
    • Conduct research into target organizations to uncover power and business needs
    • Drive prospecting efforts within current client base and in target customer profiles to generate leads
    • Navigate client power structures to gain access to key decision makers and uncover value
    • Develop differentiated win strategies in conjunction with Solution and Competency lead
    • Deliver inspirational and winning proposal and presentations that demonstrate Bounteous differentiation
    • Support the sales revenue forecasting, resource/staffing forecasting and annual budgeting processes
    • Define, evangelize, and execute short, medium, and long term strategies for Salesforce - Bounteous partnership
    • Develop strategic relationships with Salesforce partner and sales team members that result in preferred / advantaged opportunities
    • Partner with Bounteous delivery team members to develop capabilities and service offerings based on market demand

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
    • Experience participating in the growth and development of Salesforce practice and service offerings
    • Experience navigating the Salesforce partner and sales ecosystem to generate preferred leads and opportunities 
    • Experience selling Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Sales Cloud  and Service Cloud experience is nice to have, but not the primary focus
    • Minimum of 5 years successfully closing strategic deals worth $2MM+ in annual revenue for a systems integrator, eCommerce provider or digital agency
    • Experience meeting or exceeding quota of over $8MM for professional services work
    • Outstanding verbal communication skills, candidate must be authentic, disciplined and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to executive level audience in marketing and technology
    • Exceptional written communication skills, candidate must be able to craft persuasive and polished proposal copy and written communications
    • Outstanding listening skills, candidate must be able to listen for client pain, unspoken objections and develop insights into win strategies
