We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Principal Product Owner to lead the development of our Observability and Digital Twin solutions. This role is crucial for creating products that provide deep, real-time insights into the health and performance of our systems. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of services that capture, analyze, and alert on critical data, transforming raw logs and metrics into a cohesive "digital twin" application. The ideal candidate will have a technical background & a passion for complex systems. The role requires collaborating with senior stakeholders and conducting workshops to gather the requirements and translate them into user stories.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for observability, logging, and monitoring products, with a specific focus on building a Digital Twin Application.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Observability & Digital Twin Design: Lead the design and development of platforms that integrate logs, metrics, traces, and events to create a unified, real-time model of our systems.
- Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize the product backlog (epics, user stories) for development teams, ensuring they are aligned with the product vision and business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business leadership, translating complex observability concepts into business value and vice-versa.
- Market & Technology Awareness: Stay current with industry trends in Observability, Digital Twins, AI/ML for anomaly detection, and related technologies to inform product direction.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or BSA or a similar role in a software development environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a technical product role
- Preferred Experience with Digital Twin concepts or Observability projects is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), deployment processes, and common failure modes in complex systems.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant technical certifications preferred.

$130,000 - $150,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
