Currently, we are searching for a VP of Business Development to add to our fast-growing team. Role and Responsibilities

    • Target clients and develop a pipeline of opportunities directly and by leading inside sales resources and channel partners
    • Qualify and nurture opportunities at every stage of the business development funnel: initial engagement, needs assessment, opportunity framing, qualification and proposal creation
    • Manage client interactions and Bounteous competency team members to marry client needs, a strategic vision, and our right-to-win
    • Develop ‘win strategy’ before committing company resources to ‘pursuit’ (define a detailed solution)
    • Seek, find, and connect with true influencers and decision makers within companies
    • Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring and persuasive way
    • Articulate how Bounteous is uniquely positioned to envision and build robust digital experiences for our prospective clients
    • Present value of our solution to client in business terms to shift focus from cost to value
    • Develop proposals, presentation materials, and creative assignments that clearly differentiate how Bounteous can solve the client’s business opportunity through the development of a POV and adapting Bounteous case studies to fit the client’s business needs
    • Reach out and effectively (and efficiently) leverage competency members to develop Bounteous’ value proposition and successfully engage with prospective clients during the lead generation and qualification efforts
    • Support the sales revenue forecasting, resource/staffing forecasting and annual budgeting processes

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
    • Minimum of 3 years successfully closing strategic deals worth up to $1M in revenue for an eBusiness systems integrator, eCommerce provider or digital agency
    • Minimum 5 years developing, maintaining and obtaining meetings with new and existing C-level relationships
    • Demonstrable understanding of technical, creative and development project lifecycles, specifically for digital solutions
    • Experience with Office Suite SalesForce Sales Cloud
    • Outstanding verbal communication skills, candidate must be authentic, disciplined and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to executive level audience in marketing and technology
    • Exceptional written communication skills, candidate must be able to craft persuasive and polished proposal copy and written communications
    • Outstanding listening skills, candidate must be able to listen for client pain, unspoken objections and develop insights into win strategies
