The Account Manager reports to the VP, Client Service and the right candidate will largely be autonomous in managing their account.

Successful candidates have experience in partnering with clients, contributing to digital-related projects from strategy through design, development, and measurement. Candidates should be comfortable leading client conversations and guiding the client through the agency process, while also providing expertise on the client and its business to the agency team.

This position is based out of our Wilmington, Delaware office with frequent travel to Baltimore, MD when regular business travel resumes.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Partner with clients to create rich, relevant digital customer experiences that drive business results
    • Assist the VP, Client Services in the development and management of a strategic account plan that establishes multi-threaded relationships, identifies and mitigates threats, develops and fosters opportunities, and raises our strategic role within the client’s business model
    • Oversee the daily activities of a strategic account with a focus on organic growth and long-term revenue of $2-4M in revenue
    • Immerse yourself into our client's brand and partner with them to identify long term goals and key objectives
    • Establish strong working relationships with client and colleagues to foster a collaborative environment for the team to think creatively and solution together
    • Drive the decision-making process and participate in key planning milestones
    • Guide the design and development teams from initiation through to completion
    • Understand the scope of programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process
    • Prepare client dashboards, provide reporting and analytics and consultationRegularly meet in-person with the client teams in Baltimore, MD
    • Partner with Program Delivery/Project Management team to ensure that work is delivered to client’s satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent consulting agency experience preferred
    • 3-5+ years of client service, digital marketing, or account management experience
    • Energy industry experience is a significant plus, but not strictly required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent listening, presentation skills, negotiation skills preferred
    • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and attention to detail a mustDeliver client-focused solutions based off client goals
