New Business Pitch/Proposal Project Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Pursuit Project Manager focused on managing and increasing the efficiency of the pursuit process. This role will serve as a leader of highly motivated, multidisciplinary teams that collaborate to define and present solutions to business problems for our clients and prospective clients. This individual should have a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and have experience working on client proposals. The best candidate will have a bias for action and bring a positive energy to the team. 

Role and Responsibilities

    • Work with the business development team to scope, size, and solution new opportunities 
    • Understand client requirements, objectives and other activities associated with the pursuit process
    • Manage the overall pursuit process and team to ensure timely deliverables
    • Manage internal and external communications and collaboration with team members
    • Evaluate requirements and gather materials from multidisciplinary teams to help define a shared vision
    • Work with pursuit team members to prepare collateral such as storyboards, placemats, and presentations
    • Write executive summaries and proposals to support pursuit goals
    • Facilitate pursuit retrospectives to apply learnings to process improvement
    • Facilitate efficient meetings including producing detailed agenda, facilitating discussions, and ensuring action items are identified and followed up on
    • Build strong relationships with team members 
    • Continue expansion and development of new skills, techniques, and tools through continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

    • BS/BA in relevant program, or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of project management experience of progressively increased responsibility with at least 1-2 years of Agile experience
    • 3+ years of experience working as a consultant or in an agency as a project manager
    • Experience creating client proposals for digital marketing services
    • Experience in public speaking and delivering oral presentations
    • Exposure to a wide variety of management techniques including Scrum, Agile, and/or Waterfall
    • Worked with multiple teams simultaneously, consisting of 4 to 8 people
    • In-depth understanding of digital development process and technologies 
    • Proven organizational skills and a focused attention to detail
    • Experience in both Confluence / JIRA, Google sheets, MS Word, and Powerpoint
    • Experience with CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal), eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify) and Google Analytics a plus
    • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and experience with policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and/or CAN-SPAM a plus
    • A strong digital DNA with knowledge of concepts such as SEO, SEM, A/B and Multivariate testing, Conversion Optimization, Visual Design, User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Mobile (Native and Web)
    • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and experience with policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and/or CAN-SPAM a plus
    • Agile and PMI certifications are a plus
