We are looking for an Omni-Channel Architect to join our our growing Solution Engineering Competency Development Center (CDC). This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for large-scale web and mobile applications from conception to completion as well as mentoring and managing teams.
This role requires deep interest and experience in broad software platforms and will have a direct impact on the direction of Bounteous, our clients, and their industries.
The best candidate will possess strong communication and client-facing skills, be creative, highly detailed, and demonstrate the ability to define and solve complex problems in an ever-changing environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work hands-on in cloud architectures (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS)
- Design and architecture guidance across all channels (online, mobile, stores, and other engagement platforms and API interfaces)
- Develop Macro architectures (conceptual view), Technology Blueprints (3-5 year view), lead architecture forums, publish and present technology strategies, develop thought leadership around technical solutions, collaborate with technologists to create cross-domain solutions
- Analyze and understand client business use cases and technical requirements; design, build, and integrate user interfaces to a varying suite of internal and external services
- Lead and mentor teams on complex engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BE, BTech) in Computer Science, or Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
- Excellent spoken, written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent mentoring skills and people enablement through thought leadership.
- Strong Knowledge of Software Architecture, Micro Fronted, Responsive design, SPA and Design Patterns. Knowledge on front-end technologies such as: React Js, Angular, Vue, Redux, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES5, ES6), Object Oriented JavaScript, Webpack, Ajax, SCSS, Styled Component, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with Server-side technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, AWS, Docker Containers, Kubernetes etc.
- Experience with React Native, Flutter or Ionic
- Experience with Swift and Objective-C for iOS or Java and Kotlin for Android
- Experience in developing user interfaces of large-scale websites using latest UI frameworks and libraries.
- Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
- Should have good experience on Voice over, WAVE, JAWS tools.
- Frontend Frameworks (Bootstrap, MUI, etc.)
- Package/Library Managers (Composer, Yarn, npm, etc.)
- Continuous Integration Pipelines and Compilers (Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with architecting and developing solutions for highly scalable systems.
- Proven experience architecting at least 2 complex multilingual responsive web application (Content Or Commerce) through inception, design, delivery, warranty and ultimately handover to client or 3rd party support vendor.
- Strong mentoring skills, proven ability to build scalable teams imbibing thought leadership.
- Experience in architecting multi-tiered solutions based on architectural best practices.
- Experience in developing the architecture of large-scale web/mobile and POS/store systems & applications (e.g. leveraging CDNs, security at scale, and optimizing for large user-base)
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, performance, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation.
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it.
- Strong knowledge in Dev Ops, CI/CD Integrations, Infrastructure as Code.
