Bounteous is looking for a Talent Manager to support and develop human resource strategies as we continue to grow our team. Primarily focused on the Canada market, this person will identify top talent and manage the full recruitment life cycle. They will partner with our Talent Manager in the United States to evolve the interview process and support Practice Leads as they grow their individual teams. Not only will the Talent Manager be an advocate for process, they will also be a culture ambassador! They will help host new employee celebrations and think of creative ways to get our team involved in the community.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Guide and oversee interview process, career development, staffing, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits
    • Establish and effectively communicate the firm's mission and strategic vision
    • Function as a strategic business advisor to the Director of Talent regarding key organizational and management objectives
    • Partner with practice leads, serving as a subject matter expert in skill set sourcing methods and compensations trends
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them align to the Bounteous process and coaching them on development areas
    • Present to and train Bounteous team members on interview best practices
    • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the firm
    • Serve as a culture ambassador and partner with the rest of our Talent & Culture team specifically the Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity to maintain a diverse talent pipeline
    • Look for opportunities to grow the brand through networking and create a Bounteous presence among bootcamps, colleges, and other community meetups

Preferred Qualifications

    • A minimum of ten years of HR experience, with at least five years of recruitment experience
    • Excellent business acumen, ethical practice know-how, relationship management, leadership skills, critical evaluation and consultation
    • An ability to multi-task and prioritize is critical to the success of this role
    • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, etc.)
    • Team member management and mentorship experience preferred
    • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks,  etc.)
    • Familiarity with databases, applicant tracking systems, and/or CMS; preferably Lever
    • Exemplary written and oral persuasive communication skills
