About The Role:
We are looking for a Contract HR specialist for a ~4 month contract.  The HR Specialist will work closely with the entire People Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will work on onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and more. You will be an integral part of providing the best experience to our employees!


Contract Details:
Duration: ~ 4 months
Start Date: tentatively March 18th 
Rate: $40/hour


What You'll Do:

    • Coordinate an exceptional new hire experience with ownership of our onboarding process
    • Implement self-service people processes and provide direct support to our employees on HR-related matters, i.e. benefits, employment verifications, etc
    • Coordinate our benefits administration and coordination with our providers
    • Coordinate employee leaves of absence
    • Maintain and update all employee data company-wide in our HRIS (Workday) and other internal systems while conducting internal audits in partnership with HR Systems Manager
    • Responsible for compliance in partnership with HR team members
    • Own the employee offboarding process and assist with coordinating exit interviews 
    • Support immigration and relocation services, coordinating with our providers and employees

Who You Are:

    • You have experience in the field of HR and/or benefits administration 
    • You have advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities
    • You have strong attention to detail, time management, and communication/listening skills
    • You have a willingness to learn new technologies within a fast-paced environment
    • You have sound professional judgment and discretion in handling confidential issues
    • You are self-motivated and proactive
    • You have a working knowledge of HRIS systems and benefits administration
