In this role, you’ll help ensure our accounts receivable processes are efficient, paving the way for accurate financial reporting. What You’ll Do:

    • Manage all receivables: managing invoice generation, invoice collections, reconciling payments/checks received, and resolving any past due invoices.
    • Perform day-to-day reconciliation.
    • Maintain client records in Stripe/NetSuite/Avalara, including reviewing and managing sales tax exemption certificates.
    • Communicate with internal and external customers to answer questions, assist with invoicing, account changes, and ensure a delightful customer experience.
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments and key leaders to ensure alignment and success in business operations across the organization.
    • Analyze and report on accounts receivable aging and collection performance.

Must-Haves

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 
    • A comfortable grasp of the basics of accounting and bookkeeping is essential.
    • Proficiency in essential Excel functions is required.
    • Exceptional communication skills are necessary to convey information clearly, identify core issues, and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
    • The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.
    • A self-starter who takes initiative and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement is highly valued.
    • Flexibility and a willingness to take on tasks beyond the job description are important, as we are a small team that works together to get the job done.

Nice-to-Haves

    • Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, Hubspot, Avalara
    • Familiarity and/or experience working within a SaaS business
    • Familiarity with ASC 606
