About the Role

Join the team behind one of the most innovative new tools in live audio production.

RemoteMix empowers creators, engineers, and organizations to mix live audio remotely from anywhere in the world. BoxCast is hiring a Community Manager to represent RemoteMix across key audio and streaming communities, participating in existing groups while also launching and managing our own to educate, support, and grow our presence.

If you love connecting with people, sharing ideas, solving problems, and geeking out over mixing consoles and live audio gear, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

What You’ll Do:

    • Represent RemoteMix in online audio and streaming communities, forums, and social channels
    • Build and foster relationships with customers, power users, engineers, and enthusiasts
    • Act as the bridge between our users and teams internally to find opportunities to improve customer experience and cultivate communication amongst the pro audio and mixing console communities
    • Host and coordinate virtual events such as AMAs, product Q&As, webinars, and technical deep dives
    • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, bringing feedback to product and engineering
    • Monitor forums to ensure timely and high-quality responses to product questions
    • Build partnerships with installers, integrators, and educators
    • Develop programs to recognize, reward, and amplify community champions
    • Engage with customers on review websites (G2, Capterra, SourceForge, etc.) and ensure their feedback is acknowledged and addressed
    • Track and report on community health, growth, and engagement metrics

Must Haves:

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in community management, customer engagement, or advocacy
    • Proven success as a power user on platforms like Reddit, Facebook, Discord and beyond with the ability to turn that expertise into community-building playbooks
    • Up-to-date on the latest social media and community-building trends with the curiosity to test new formats and platforms
    • Humility to accept feedback and the drive to turn it into actionable improvements
    • Familiarity with the pro audio and live streaming spaces (you know your way around mixing consoles, DAWs, or encoders)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach

Nice to Haves:

    • Background in the music industry, specifically working with pro audio engineers, audio hardware manufacturers, live event audio installers or integrators
    • Experience as a live audio engineer
    • Familiarity with HubSpot, JIRA, and Confluence

How You’ll Display Our Values:

    • Integrity: Ensure updates and reports reflect accurate results and meet defined objectives
    • Collaboration: Work effectively with your colleagues and provide helpful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner
    • Judgment: Provide recommendations using your social media knowledge and tools to help BoxCast be a subject matter expert
    • Achievement: Consistently deliver results through effective organic campaigns and consistent posting
