Position Overview
 
BPM's CFO Services Practice is always looking for CFOs, Directors of Finance and Controllers who are potentially interested in joining our team. We'd love to get to know you so that when the right client engagement presents itself, we can have you top of mind and be ready to roll!  CFO Services sits within BPM's Advisory Practice and is a dedicated practice of highly qualified CFOs, Directors of Finance, and Controllers who parachute into clients for full-time interim engagements or for part-time support and technical projects. This team has access to the expertise of our entire 1,200+ employee firm to back them up as they tackle critical client projects. As a member of our team, you enjoy:

Responsibilities
 
You will be a part of BPM's CFO Services practice as a CFO, Director of Finance or Controller Consultant working on client engagements. We look for experienced professionals with 20-25+ years' experience who enjoy variety, thrive on flexibility, and have the aptitude to spearhead client engagements during transition and transactions as an agent of improvement and change. Working with other BPM practice leaders, you will be responsible for a variety of client deliverables.
 
Qualifications
 
- At least 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance, including 5+ years as a CFO, Controller or Director of Finance.

- Proven ability to manage chaos, effectively work in turnaround/restructuring environments, navigate M&A activity, and develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures.

- Proficient in systems selection, implementation, and optimization from an accounting perspective.

-Possess the unique ability to dive into the details (sometimes supervising junior client staff and performing basic accounting tasks as needed) while at the same time able to function as the head of finance and the strategic advisor to the client CEO/Owner.

- Must have the ability to proactively and effectively communicate with and manage the expectations of clients and other engagement stakeholders regarding engagement deliverables, project status, roadblocks, and timing.

- Experienced in mid-market technology, consumer industries, and/or manufacturing sectors.

- Experienced in managing and executing consulting engagements, including managing client relationships and successfully completing client deliverables.

- Ability to parachute into new environments, quickly assess the situation, and work towards stabilization or improvement.

- Flexibility to work both remotely and at client sites.

- Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and public accounting experience desired.

Pay Range: Annual equivalent ranging from $175,000 - $350,000

The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.  Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
