For this role, you will:

    • Have 4+ years of relevant experience and a BS/BA degree in Architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering, electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering (preferred, but not required) with 4-8 years of relevant experience.
    • Problem-solving strategies and conflict resolution skills
    • Well organized and possesses the ability to multi-task
    • Prioritize projects based on deadlines
    • Knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, and construction cost documentation (i.e. AIA forms G702 and G703, change order logs, project cost summaries, etc.)
    • Knowledge of construction cost estimating, and experience using Marshall & Swift Valuation Service and R.S. Means
    • General understanding of Federal tax law relating to fixed assets and depreciation (Section 1245 and 1250 property, Rev Proc. 87-56, IRC 168, etc.), Federal tangible property regulations and the Tax Cuts and jobs Act
    • Work with clients to procure data related to acquisition or construction
    • Analyze construction cost documents, including contractor payment applications
    • Develop and review quantity takeoffs from blueprints, on site, and from other sources of property.
    • Review estimates developed from costing manuals such as RS Means and Marshall Valuation
    • Perform and supervise physical site inspections
    • Prepare and review reports and prepare schedules that support findings from analysis
    • Have basic understanding of real estate appraisals and valuation studies
    • Communicate and resolve questions with internal and external stakeholders
    • Familiarity with construction design and construction processes. Supervise, train and develop staff.

Pay Range - $105k - $175k/yr.
The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.  Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
