Intacct Technical Consultant:
As a Sage Intacct Consultant you’ll be responsible for assisting with a variety of implementations, add-on’s, and optimization projects. You will assist in determining the Clients business needs, business process design, develop customized solutions, and integrate third party applications with existing infrastructure. Your mission will be to successfully deliver and manage software implementation projects in a team environment, while looking for ways to provide value to our Clients.
A successful candidate will work directly with clients and the Project Lead to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. They will also coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and complete.
You Have (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 1 years related experience in public accounting - including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations
- 1-2 years of direct system implementation and support in Sage Intacct
- Sage Intacct Implementation Certification
- Sage Intacct Accounting End User Certification – is a plus
- 5+ implementations in various industries
- Experience in the following: Implementation, Integrations, and Reporting
- Experience with migrating historical data, reporting and customization to Sage Intacct application is preferred
- You are able to write a few lines of code if necessary (<10 lines) – is a plus
- Experience following detailed work plans for project activities within scope
- Experience supporting end users with general Sage Intacct application questions
- Excel proficiency preferred, including ability to create data transformation workbooks and/or macros to facilitate uploads of data
- Experience with third party marketplace partners such as Expensify, Nexonia, Concur, Bill.com, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience with other ERP packages including NetSuite, SAP, Yardi, Sage, Dynamics, Great Plains, and/or QuickBooks is a plus, but not required.
You Will (Responsibilities)
- Participate in multiple engagements, interacting directly with Senior BPM consultants and Clients through implementation. Must be comfortable with various clients concurrently
- Work on Sage Intacct related projects including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, support and other special projects
- Follow and deliver on project plans, including schedules, key milestones and deliverables
- Provide feedback and weekly status updates for all active projects with project manager
- Proactively work with clients on understanding their business needs and translating such needs into a Solution Design for Sage Intacct and third party solutions
- Assist with maintaining documentation for all project-related activities (e.g. meeting minutes, requirements documentation, change orders)
- Deliver according to schedules, milestones and budgets
- Identify requirements that cannot be met with standard Intacct functionality and suggest possible custom solutions to Senior Consultant
- Assist with modeling and testing processes
- Assist with the transition of customers from implementation to Customer Support or our BEST outsourced accounting team
- Back up project manager as needed
- Stay up to date with latest features of Sage Intacct and the Sage Intacct ecosystem
