Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.

Requirements:

    • B.A. degree OR equivalent work experience.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years in a professional services role, project management experience, and/or HR.
    • Experience OR 2 years in a resource planning/coordinating role.
    • Excellent time management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent client service, learning agility, data analytical, and change management skills.
    • Ability to interact with all levels of employees from entry level to partners.
    • Strong computer skills – Microsoft applications; Ability and desire to master resourcing software.
    • Experience with Retain, CCH Axcess, and STAR is a plus.
    • Familiarity with public accounting, a plus

Resource Management Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate scheduling meetings for resource needs, scheduling conflicts, and any other issues.
    • Continuously build strong relationships with managers and staff to drive resourcing initiatives, including maintaining skills matrix in Retain, etc.
    • Assign appropriate client service staff to engagements by balancing the needs of staff and clients for the purpose of maximizing utilization and the experience of the staff.
    • Review staff utilization/headcount report with Resource Management leadership.
    • Analyze weekly staff schedules and availability reports for solutions.
    • Monitor unassigned resources.
    • Monitor over-and-underutilized staff and determine appropriate resources or solutions to balance workload.
    • Coordinate roll off assignments for termed/LOA employees.
    • Responsible for the upkeep of maintaining data integrity in scheduling tool, Retain, and other software as it relates to resourcing.
    • Ad-hoc projects as requested.

STAR Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate scheduling meetings for new Bengaluru resources and provide STAR training and support.
    • Ensure that new hires are set up in STAR before the Start date.
    • Database changes in Star to the clients, jobs, and contacts records.
    • Mass updates to the database.
    • Ensure clients/jobs are set up correctly in STAR.
    • Create and distribute firm-wide reports.
    • Analyze weekly staff data – UKG-STAR data integrity.
    • Review staff utilization/headcount report for Bengaluru resources.
    • Monitor missing time for Bengaluru resources.
    • Update time entries for resources, when needed.
    • Coordinate roll-off assignments.
    • Ad-hoc projects as requested.
