Our Los Angeles office is seeking a Data Analyst to join the social team. Ideal candidate understands the importance of marrying data alongside creative intuition. You think in numbers and you get excited to see your team's creative be proven through the lens of analytics. Most of all, you have the ability to digest the analytics and provide critical insights and recommendations to key internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong understanding of social analytics - both paid and organic.
- Ensure findings and evidence are collected, reviewed and presented in a clear and concise manner.
- Instill best practices as it relates to both internal and external education.
- Ability to breakdown complex situations to easily digestible insights and recommendations based on analytics.
- Work across account and creative teams to help strengthen creative campaigns and deliverables through data.
- Create simple and digestible reports to clients.
- Work with media teams to paint a narrative between organic and paid, while identifying best performing content and drawing conclusions.
- Proactively explore data to discover hidden and new insights.
- Stay up-to-date on new social listening strategies and tools.
Requirements
- Exceptional attitude
- 2+ years work experience (within an agency or services based organization is a strong plus)
- Deep knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat
- A love for digging into data for hidden connections
- Unusually strong writing ability
- Excellent communicator and extremely organized
- Serious multi-tasking skills
- Incredible attention to detail
- Knowledge of social listening platforms
- Experience and knowledge working with Google Analytics
- A fan of entertainment content is a strong plus
