As a Senior Product Manager at Brandwatch, you’ll be empowered to get to know our customers and help them solve their most pressing problems. You’ll help shape our strategic direction, guiding your autonomous teams of talented Engineers, Designers, Analysts, and Product Marketers to identify, prioritise and deliver value to our customers.

You’ll report into a Product leader who’ll guide and mentor you. Your Product leader will work with you to shape vision into strategy, set a mission, and agree on your own personal objectives – but you’ll never be told what to build. And you’ll have the support of a close-knit (and growing!) community of passionate Product people.

We value creativity, boldness, and authenticity. We want to create a place where you can bring your whole self, where you can feel you belong, and where you’re empowered to do your best work in an environment that works for you. We want you to have a voice, and be heard. We’ll listen, and support you however we can.

In our experience, no two Product people are the same. We aim to complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, to help each other learn and grow, and to succeed together. We want to hire people who aren’t exactly like us. And we want to shape our roles to match the people who want to work here.

So don’t worry if you don’t exactly fit our description – if you’re excited about this role, we want to meet you!

What you'll be doing:

    • Collaborate with Product Leadership and your autonomous teams to shape a data-informed and learning-focussed roadmap of customer value
    • Deeply understand and care about the problems we’re solving for our customers
    • Work with UX researchers to incorporate user interviews, usability studies, research and market analysis into your teams’ solutions
    • Evangelise product enhancements that teach us how to better serve our customers, while providing experiences that are consistently highly quality, accessible, and easy to use
    • Own your objectives and user outcomes; make repeatable success your goal
    • Look for ways to improve our Product team culture and processes – helping to shape how we effectively work together, and with the wider business
    • Help product marketers get customers excited about what we’re doing, and why
    • Be an ambassador for our product vision, mission and outcomes across the company, and externally

What you might need:

    • If you’ve 2+ years of Product Management experience in b2b, enterprise or saas software, you should a good idea of what the role will entail
    • Experience working in consumer insight, market research or social media management will help you hit the ground running, but isn’t essential
    • Empathy and rapport is pretty central to the role here – an ability to form strong relationships with people across the organisation, each with their own goals and perspectives
    • Thirst for evidence – focus on uncovering customer needs, figuring out the common underlying problem, and championing why it’s valuable to solve
    • Eagerness to prove from experimentation that your teams’ work has helped solve valuable customer problems, and made the product better as a result
    • Collaborative problem solving skills, to help you get the most out of your experts
    • Demonstrated ability to work with customers, understand their perspectives, and manage their expectations sensitively
    • Strategic mindset – comfortable helping to turn a long-term vision into a compelling short-term mission, and rallying teams behind that mission
    • Passion for storytelling – crafting a compelling narrative that clearly and succinctly communicates key info, verbally and written down
    • Previous experience owning an agile backlog of product ideas, defining and prioritising them and working with a team to deliver them into the product will also be super helpful
