The Head of Sales is a strategic role responsible for leading Brevo’s Sales department in Germany, driving revenue growth and developing a high-performing sales team. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs. 

As Head of Sales, you will:

    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that expands Brevo's customer base and ensures its strong market presence.
    • Lead and motivate the sales team to exceed sales targets through coaching, performance management, and providing professional development opportunities.
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
    • Establish and maintain key customer relationships while developing strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to identify potential new clients, markets, and opportunities.
    • Provide detailed sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
    • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership on market trends.
    • Ensure effective communication of sales strategies and objectives across the company.
    • Negotiate contracts with clients and establish a timeline of performance.
    • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
    • Act as a company representative in sales discussions, presentations, and proposals.

What will contribute to your success:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
    • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a previous experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the SaaS/Martech sector
    • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and leading a successful sales team
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to drive and motivate a team towards a common goal.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and GSuite.
