Internship Overview:
We’re seeking a creative, motivated, and proactive Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. You’ll help expand BrewBird’s digital presence by developing engaging short-form video content and compelling social media posts to drive brand awareness and customer conversions. This internship provides substantial creative autonomy and valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media analytics.
This paid internship requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, with flexibility to take on additional hours depending on the individual's availability and workload. The ideal internship duration is between 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and team needs. The position is based in the Bay Area, CA, with at least 2 days per week expected on-site at our San Carlos office. Candidates must have access to a personal vehicle, as local travel is required; mileage will be reimbursed.
What You’ll Do
- Create compelling daily short-form content (user reactions, behind-the-scenes, tutorials) tailored specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and engaging posts on X to drive awareness and in-person tastings/demos.
- Rapidly produce, edit, and iterate content leveraging performance analytics and audience insights.
- Continuously experiment, stay ahead of social media trends, and refine approaches to ensure our content remains fresh, creative, and innovative.
- Collaborate closely with our CEO and marketing/design team to define and execute BrewBird’s creative vision.
- Capture and create photo and video content at BrewBird events and demonstrations.
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and cultivate a vibrant online community.
You’re The Perfect Fit If You Have
- 1+ years of experience producing high-quality, engaging short-form videos on Instagram, X, and TikTok (please include portfolio examples).
- Exceptional video production and editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, AI video tools).
- Strong creative storytelling ability paired with sharp trend awareness.
- Comfort and confidence being on-camera or directing engaging talent clearly and authentically.
- Genuine enthusiasm for specialty coffee and/or innovative tech products.
- Ability to travel locally and lift approximately 30 lbs for event setups.
