Kinvest Farming Company operates a commercial fresh produce export business targeting the high-end premium market overseas, using state-of-the-art agronomic and irrigation techniques to maximize yields and quality. The function of the HRO is to provide hands-on resources for managing the administration of a large labor force, as well as the day-to-day HR & administration of Kinvest.
Outcomes and Objectives
- Work with the management to plan staff requirements in terms of numbers and expertise.
- Carry out sourcing of suitable staff through recruitment agencies, and line up interviews with the respective manager.
- Once selected, process all new staff by managing the employment process and contracts.
- Initiate and monitor the payroll management to capture accurate employee information and salary payment.
- Develop and keep updated the staff database and Staff file documentation.
- Support employee relations and address any requests, issues or concerns.
- Work with management to project staff training requirements, and source expertise to undertake specific training.
- Manage the maintenance of vendor services to staff, such as medical services.
- Report monthly data to include new hires, vacancies, staff attendance versus demand, disciplinary action taken, and training achieved.
- Keep up to date with Government statutory bodies regarding labour laws and maintain HR Compliance for the Kinvest.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Membership of chartered institutes of personnel Development.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a related role.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Computer skills
- Good human relations skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
