BrightEdge is looking for a Director of Product Management to join our R&D team.  The ideal candidate will drive new innovations for the Enterprise in the ever-changing Search industry. As the market leader for Enterprise SEO (with over 50% of Fortune 500 companies as customers), our customers require an Enterprise Product Manager who will help scale SEO in their large organizations. On the back end, this product leader will be responsible for roadmapping, execution, and driving our Go-To-Market strategy of BrightEdge’s SaaS offerings.

Core Responsibilities

    • Lead the full product life cycle from ideation to launch to next iteration 
    • Function as product owner for a fast-paced Agile Scrum development process (weekly pushes) 
    • Measure how your features are being adopted by your customers. We have a data driven approach to products and we measure the effectiveness of each feature. 
    • Enable the internal team whenever you release your feature (whether via email, in-person training, or webinar) 
    • Launch externally to customers (in-person, webinar) 
    • Be a practitioner of SEO and Products. When you build that next SEO product, it’s important that you’re actually deploying that new technique or new algorithm to a handful of sites. 
    • Analyze Customer Data for insights 
    • Conduct CRM process adjustment change management, roll-out, adoption and communication 
    • Own inter-department collaboration for smooth customer success life-cycle delivery 

What it Takes to Be Successful

    • 7-10 years of product management experience of a web-based software company (SaaS)
    • Experience in building and launching new products
    • Experience rolling out and enabling sales team on new products
    • Experience with our GTM motion (field, or virtual inside motion)
    • Experience with the Search channel (ideally SEO, but SEM is okay as well)
    • Familiarity with: User Stories, Wireframes/Mockups, Roadmaps, Backlogs, Agile development environments, Go-to-market (GTM) strategies
