We are looking for a Lead IoTEngineer who will be working on our industrial IoT projects as a Lead Developer. Your nearest colleagues will be found at our Helsinki and Tampere offices.
What are we really looking for?
We start with user and business needs. Then, strategically plan the technical architecture, select scalable technologies, and implement technology solutions. We help you refine value from industrial data to benefit industrial production and the whole life cycle of machinery. You would be working closely with our development teams and customers.
In your role you will:
- Define software architectures for IoT systems and cloud-connected IoT platforms ( edge computing, cloud).
- Azure IoT Edge, Azure IoT operations, awsgreengrass
- utilize robust workflows, processes, and development best practices for efficient execution.
- Develop container-based solutions
- Design and develop IoT software with a focus on scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Utilize software repositories (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps) and handle version control strategies.
- Address and resolve trouble reports efficiently (GitHub, Azure DevOps, JIRA).
- Guide the release of IoT designs into production, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Develop and oversee production-ready solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, built on trust, motivation, and innovation.
We would like you to have:
- Extensive hands-on background in IoT software and cloud programming
- Expertise in defining software architectures for compact edge and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of software lifecycle management, from development to long-term maintenance.
- Experience managing real-time systems and optimizing IoT communication protocols.
- Knowledge of technologies such as WiFi, BLE, LORA, NB-IoT, or 5G.
- A problem-solving mindset
- Familiar with OPC UA is a big plus
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish
