Who you are
Education products are critical to the future of brightwheel as we are committed to providing solutions for schools, parents and teachers that free up their time to focus on providing high quality education to every child. The Early Education Curriculum and Instruction Leader assures the successful development and support for a comprehensive and standards-based curriculum. The role leads the content development for curriculum programs including standards, curriculum, instruction and assessment. This role requires experience in early education (before Kindergarten) curriculum as well as live, teacher-led instruction.

What you'll do

    • Develop and Enhance Early Education Products: Develop products consistent with Brightwheel’s vision and strategic initiatives that include curriculum, effective instructional practices and a thoughtful assessment system. Recommend the expansion or elimination of content and programs as necessary.
    • Develop New Products: Set and assess short-term and long-term goals of the curriculum.  Support efforts to align curriculum with key standards to support business growth. Build digital learning instructional content for online teacher and administrator training bringing best practices in online learning.
    • Contribute to Education Business Growth: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Design, Production, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Digital Product to drive the most impactful initiatives for the Education business. Define, track, and execute against key initiatives. 
    • Integrate Curriculum into New Products: Work alongside our Product & Engineering teams to build a beloved digital experience for schools, teachers and parents. 
    • Research Trends: Stay current with the latest research, educational trends, and best practices in early childhood education, integrating this knowledge into curriculum and instructional design.

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities

    • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • 8+ years of proven experience in curriculum writing & development.
    • In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
    • Experience in physical and digital learning environments.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing early childhood education.
    • Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with cross-functional teams
$107,000 - $140,000 a year
Brightwheel is committed to internal pay equity and offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, equity, and benefits. For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Multiple factors determine final offer amounts, including geographic location, candidate experience, and expertise.
