Who you are
Education products are critical to the future of brightwheel as we are committed to providing solutions for schools, parents and teachers that free up their time to focus on providing high quality education to every child. We currently have a set of Curriculum products that are shipped to Early Education customers across the country. The S&OP Manager ensures that we satisfy customer demand and grow our business by linking our demand forecasting and production planning processes. The role is responsible for building and improving upon processes coordinating and driving execution and resolving conflicts. We are looking for an experienced S&OP Manager who can build solutions to improve our forecasting and planning processes.

What you’ll do

    • Partner and collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to develop and maintain the S&OP process.
    • Facilitate monthly demand forecast and production forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the S&OP process.
    • Document assumptions, product changes, and adjustments to forecasts using Sales, Marketing, Product and Curriculum teams’ input. Communicate updates to operations teams
    • Analyze sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production plans to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the S&OP process. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy 
    • Coordinate and facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings to review and adjust the S&OP plan.
    • Build, analyze and update rolling 18 months’ production forecast on a monthly basis for teams to use in long-range planning (e.g. long-lead time buying).
    • Assist in the resolution of key supply-demand issues.
    • Support the implementation of new tools to drive continuous improvement in the S&OP process.

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities

    • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
    • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
    • Work autonomously in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
$90,000 - $149,000 a year

For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Multiple factors determine final offer amounts, including geographic location, candidate experience, and expertise.
