- As a Senior Netezza Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse solutions. You will ensure high performance, data integrity, and availability of mission-critical systems that support business operations across the bank.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Netezza-based data warehouse objects (tables, views, stored procedures, scripts).
- Design, build, and optimize DataStage ETL jobs and DB2 SQL queries for complex data transformations.
- Perform database administration tasks including schema design, access control, and system monitoring.
- Support database backup, recovery, and migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance guidelines for sensitive information.
- Partner with IT and business teams to deliver accurate and timely data solutions.
- Analyze logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and recommend enhancements.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of strong experience in Netezza, DataStage, DB2, and SQL.
- Proficient in database performance monitoring and optimization.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Solid problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
- Experience with Agile project delivery.
