    • Role: Java Backend Developer/Full Stack developer
    • Years of Experience: 8+ years
    • Location: Alameda CA (2-3 Days onsite)

    • As a consultant within the Vertical team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that power our applications.
    • Collaborate with frontend engineers to build and deliver end-to-end features using React on the client side. Write clean, secure, and scalable code following best practices.
    • Implement data models, optimize queries, and work with relational and non-relational databases.
    • Contribute to system architecture and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure reliability.
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
    • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3–5 years of professional experience in backend engineering, ideally with exposure to full stack development.
    • Strong proficiency in server-side languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar). Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures. Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).
    • Frontend development experience with React.js (including hooks, state management, and component architecture).
    • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
    • Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with TypeScript on both frontend and backend.
    • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
    • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
    • Experience working on consumer-facing or eCommerce platforms.
    • Understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability
