Role: Senior Devops Engineer
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Job Description:
· Maintain technical documents in our repository with reference to support for any type of technical issues or bug.
· Monitor the web-applications backend database and tables, so measures were taken at the earliest to avoid any performance issue to the end-users.
· Perform health check of the backend Code Builds, Glue jobs and Lambdas. Design and develop scripts that need to run on log database according to the client requirement.
· Create user documentation to explain the workflow from the end user perspective. Analyze and implement the code to integrate various functional workflows of all the modules. Implement the technical design specification using CloudFormation Templates for Infrastructure deployment and Python, Nodejs as programming language.
· Implement AWS Private Link setup which provides secure connection between 2 accounts via the secured network of AWS without any physical resource such as direct connect.
· Develop the web-application and deploy the infrastructure in AWS. Work on micro service-based implementation to allow high scalability and reduce the impact during the time of outage.
· Automate the services to detect any repositories created without mandatory tags and their valid values. Create different dashboards using AWS offerings and represent different statistical views to the Logs Data.
· Implement Data Lake concepts in different accounts to ensure access based on Database or table level, only to the authorized user or roles.
· Provide inputs to design processes and help other programmers from different practice in implementing new AWS features, clients will be part of discussion to provide input and suggestion during new features addition to application.
· Give technical inputs for best coding practices for results.
· Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field plus three (3) years of IT experience.
· Two (2) years of the three (3) years of IT experience must include experience in AWS and Python. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) we will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
