Snowflake Lead Engineer

Data Modelling Fundamentals, Data Warehousing, DataStream, ETL Fundamentals, Modern Data Platform Fundamentals, PLSQL, Python, Snowpipe, SnowSQL, SQL, SQL (Basic + Advanced), Time Travel and Fail Safe

8 +years of industry experience with hands on managing projects in Data Warehousing with a minimum 4 years of experience working on Snowflake
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
Should have hands on experience with ETL tools (Matillion Preferred) Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling).
Experience in designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipeline using Snowpipe.
SnowSQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyse and transform data.
Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts.
Should have implement cloud-based Enterprise data warehouse solutions with multiple data platforms along with Snowflake environment to build data movement strategy.
Should be able to make necessary on-going updates to modeling principles, processes, solutions, and best practices to ensure that the Snowflake is aligned with business needs of the environment.
Should be able to lead in developing project requirements for end-to-end Data integration process using ETL for Structured, semi-structured and Unstructured Data.
Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features.
