About the Role:

Venture Capital as a Service (VCaaS) is a fully outsourced end-to-end venture capital solution designed for investors looking for triple returns—financial, strategic, and impact. Target clients include institutional investors and financial institutions,  corporate investors, government investors, university investors/endowments, family offices, HNWI/UHNWI, and technology parks. In this role, you will work directly with Brinc’s CEO and corporate strategy team to develop a pipeline of potential VCaaS customers in Asia and secure mandates (targeting US$15m AUM per client).

What you will do

    • Partnership Development and Sales 
    • Lead all aspects of VCaaS customer sales strategy, including management of the sales process, lead generation, negotiations, and deal closure 
    • Participate in P&L goal setting and deliver the budgeted top and bottom-line results
    • Define and implemyouent a cost-effective lead generation strategy utilizing both traditional and non-traditional mediums
    • Improve upon existing sales material to ensure that messaging resonates with target customers 
    • Manage pipeline of leads through HubSpot and an impactful nurture strategy
    • Incorporate the value of the company's brand, Mission Statement, and Core Values throughout a managed sales process 
    • Account Management 
    • Work cross functionally to onboard VCaaS clients to the Brinc platform 
    • Manage existing accounts to ensure that clients are satisfied at every phase of execution, communicate feedback to investment teams 
    • Refine sales process and product based on client feedback

About you

    • Venture Capital or Investment Background:
    • Prior experience in traditional venture capital, private equity, or investment banking. Knowledge of deal sourcing, due diligence, investment analysis, and portfolio management
    • Technology and Innovation Understanding:
    • Familiarity with technology trends, innovation ecosystems, and disruptive technologies. A background in tech-related fields such as software development, IT, engineering, or experience working with tech startups is advantageous.
    • Data Analytics and AI/ML Skills:
    • Given the technology-centric nature of VCaaS, proficiency in data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) can be highly beneficial for analyzing market trends, evaluating startups, and making data-driven investment decisions.
    • Platform and Digital Services Expertise:
    • Understanding platform-based business models, digital services, SaaS (Software as a Service), and their impact on startups is important in the context of VCaaS. Experience in building or scaling digital platforms can be advantageous.
    • Business Development and Growth Strategies:
    • Skills in devising growth strategies, market expansion, and business development are essential. Knowledge of scaling startups and assisting them with strategic planning is valuable
    • Entrepreneurial Experience:
    • Experience as an entrepreneur or involvement in startup ventures can provide practical insights into the challenges and needs of early-stage companies
    • Financial Acumen and Deal Structuring:
    • Strong financial analysis skills, understanding of valuation methods, and deal structuring capabilities .
    • Regulatory and Compliance Understanding:
    • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to investments, compliance, and legal aspects in various jurisdictions is essential to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
    • Communication and Relationship-Building Skills:
    • Effective communication, networking, and relationship-building skills are crucial for interacting with founders, investors, and stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
