Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to lead field walk-downs and evaluations of piping systems, design equipment layouts, and develop piping work packages with AutoCAD or Plant 3D.  

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
•Lead field evaluation and measurement/survey coordination of piping systems
•Equipment layouts and piping system design
•Design piping plans & elevations and 2D or 3D piping isometric & spool drawings
•Interpret and apply client and industry standards and specifications
•Quality Control of drawings produced by others
•Coordinate with other disciplines 
•Participate in client meetings 
•Drive to develop business applications for emerging technologies
•Lead in developing piping specialty item specification criteria
•Mentoring less experienced designers

Minimum Qualifications:
•Education:2-year technical degree
•Experience:Min Yr = 5 Max Yr = 18+
•Technical Skills: Proficiency with 2D&3D design, Point Cloud integration, ASME B31.3 & B31.1, technical specifications of specialty items
Exposure to Navisworks, Bluebeam, and API Codes preferred
•Management: Basic mentoring/small team technical oversight required
•Other Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic estimating

Individual field assignments typically each have their own unique requirements.  Prior to deployment on any field assignment, you must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements.  Should you be unable or unwilling to meet assignment-specific requirements, your continued employment would then be subject to the availability of other assignments whose requirements can be met.  These unique requirements may include:
•You must possess physical mobility (on the ground and at heights).
•You may be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
•You may be required to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding/ladders using the appropriate and required fall protection.  
•You must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing the appropriate PPE. This may include but not be limited to a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots.  
•You may be required to position yourself to work in confined spaces.
•You may be required to adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site.
•You may be required to meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.
