Brindley Engineering provides Maintenance, Reliability, and Construction engineering services for heavy industrial clients across a range of industries including Petroleum Refining, Chemical and Petrochemical facilities, Pharmaceuticals, Pipelines and Terminals, Power, Food, Manufacturing, Paper, Wastewater, and other industries.  We are looking for great teammates with abundant technical and leadership skills, strong work ethic, a drive for continuous improvement, and a desire to further enhance our strong culture.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Technical and managerial leadership of assigned engineering and design team members
    • Manage Client interface on technical and commercial matters
    • Assist in developing estimates and proposals in the support of new business development
    • Conduct field evaluation of existing structures / structural components of systems
    • Conduct root cause failure analysis of items in need of repair /replacement
    • Develop analytical models in the development of the repairs and modifications
    • Specify materials, prepare procurement requisition packages, review shop drawings, etc.
    • Prepare scope of work packages for construction
    • Integrate repair plans with multi-discipline engineering and planning teams to complete work during facility outages, provide construction planning support and technical assistance
    • Provide technical support for field execution during facility outage

Knowledge, Skills, & Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required as well as PE License; and SE Licensed strongly desired
    • In-depth knowledge of ACI 318, AISC, ASCE-7, IBC required
    • Strong background in steel and concrete structures
    • Experienced with field evaluations of existing structures preferred
    • Strength in working in digital environment and knowledgeable of MathCAD, STAAD (or equivalent), and other design and analysis software required
