Having a constant and reliable availability of inventory is vital to the success of a footwear and apparel company. This is where operational planning and analytics plays an integral part in our success at Brooks Running. You will form part of this crucial function for one of the world’s leading running brands.
You will work closely with the EMEA Inventory Analyst to ensure on time and accurate reporting and analysis on key inventory performance metrics. The role will allow you to work hands-on with market leading software such as Excel and Microsoft Cubes, which will not only give you the opportunity to test and develop your analytical skills, but also the opportunity to put your presentation of key findings to the test. You will have cross functional exposure through interaction with other areas of the business such as Sales and Marketing that will provide you with an understanding of how inventory planning and management impacts the execution of sales targets and marketing inventory efficiencies.
The Brooks Sports EMEA HQ consists of 60 people, which makes it ideal for you to get a holistic view of the industry by having the opportunity to network with all functional areas of the business – Operations, Sales, Marketing, Human Resource, and Finance.

- Create monthly Sales & Operations Scorecard
- Create monthly Sales, Purchases and Inventory Planning Tool
- Support the Integrated Inventory Analyst EMEA with reporting on excess inventory to inform the close out inventory liquidation process.
- Assist the Integrated Inventory Analyst EMEA with supply to demand match analysis on style, color and size level.
- Work together with the Integrated Inventory Analyst EMEA on creating reports on the EMEA inventory.
- Assist the Inventory Analyst and the Finance Team with the financial reserves process for excess and obsolete inventory.

What we require:
- University student in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
- Proficient user of MS Applications, proven mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to analyze raw data.
- Great organizational skills, with attention to detail
- You are open, proactive, and not afraid to take initiative.
Start Date: January 2020 – June 2020 (6 months)
