Your Job:
The Events & Run Communities Coordinator UK/IE will support the execution of all Marketing events in your assigned territory in partnership with the UK/IE Events and Communications Manager as well as the broader Marketing team. You will work across various marketing channels (Partners (parkrun), retail, Influencers, Events) to coordinate delivery of Brooks events in line with Brooks Brand guidelines. This role will also be responsible for activating agreed marketing activities and leading the relationships with physical running communities and ambassadors including the Brooks Running Collective ambassador Team. This role will report into the UK/IE Events and Communications Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Events & Communities
- Coordinate and execute Brooks running events in the UK & Ireland region under supervision of UK/IE Events and Communications Manager including parkrun events, partner events such as the Great North Run, retail consumer facing and Sales associate facing, PR&IM.
- Monitor success of executed events against objectives, budgets and KPI’s and fill in Quarterly report Templates with support of UK/IE Events and Communications Manager
- Liaise with Tech Rep Supervisor and UK/IE to support resourcing of events and consistency with Brooks standards.
- Audit and coordinate all Brooks event kit including working with Tech Reps on their local event kits.
- Act as point of contact and ensure following of marketing plans and activations with approved Running Communities in the UK & IE. To include events, social content, and seeding.
- Support execution of in real life activations and audit event collateral with all event partners such as race branding at partnered events.
- Influencers
- Support the implementation of Brooks Running Collective Influencer strategy in UK & IE, in accordance with the Global and EMEA marketing strategy.
- Act as point of contact for Brooks Running Collective. Including sorting, packing, posting all gifting boxes and kit to align with expected delivery dates.
- Use provided Influencer Tracking tools to Generate insights, pull data and provide reporting for stakeholders to optimize community management.
- Act as point of contact for additional Brooks ambassadors as agreed with Events & Communications Manager UK/IE.
- General
- Under supervision of Events and Communications Manager complete and present quarterly marketing report templated on events and influencer activity
- Place and track seeding orders on behalf of all Marketing Functions
- Provide hands on support to the broader marketing team across Digital Media, PR, Influencers, Events and eComm as required.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business/marketing)
- 1+ years of relevant business experience (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience)
- Some understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approach
- Some understanding and knowledge of marketing channels and brands
- Readiness to travel and attend meetings and offerings with customers as well as events.
- Proficiency of following software: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Strong passion for the running enthusiast and practicing an active lifestyle.
- Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions.
- Driven & energetic, trend-conscious, sport-savvy.
- Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and manage concurrent workflows to deadlines, strong attention to details.
- Min 2 days per week in Office dependent on location. This role includes an expectation of working 30 plus weekend days per year to be off set with Days in Lieu.
