As the Paid Media Specialist, Retail, you will have the unique opportunity to work across multiple parts of Brooks’ Paid Media business. The primary part of this job is with our Retail Paid team, acting as a paid media expert for our Wholesale accounts across North America, developing and executing digital marketing campaigns with our key retail accounts. You will also tap into the Local Paid team from time to time, assisting in executing our local paid media strategies to help increase Brooks’ share within opportunity markets as it relates to our Retail partners.
 
You will manage retail and agency partners to ensure alignment with our media strategies and will help to monitor day-to-day performance. You will work cross functionally with Retail Marketing, Sales, National Paid Team, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative, and Digital Products teams to support comprehensive plans to attain target KPIs for each channel.
 
In partnership with the Manager, Local & Retail Paid Media, and other team members, you will strategize, put in requests for creative, optimize and report on seasonal campaigns across Local and Retail.  Winning in this role will be to develop, implement, execute, report, and deliver on media strategies aligning to our KPIs, that will bring new runners into the brand via our local media activations as well as via our wholesale retail partners by driving sell-through of our products through their direct sites and in-store experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

    • Partner with your manager to own, implement and execute the strategy, delivery, and optimization of Local & Retail media campaigns.
    • Lead planning and strategy recommendations for core product launches at key retail accounts while evaluating and making optimizations to current strategies. Marketing channels include paid social, programmatic media, on-site display, and other digital tactics for prospecting and retargeting runners to drive conversion at our key retail accounts.
    • Partner with manager on seasonal tactical planning and seasonal strategy development of our local media activations.
    • Partner closely with our media agency partners to deliver on our Local media plans and goals.
    • Own measurement and reporting for local and retail activations by aggregating data, analyzing, drawing insights, clearly communicating campaign results to cross-functional team members and providing recommendations to improve paid spend.
    • Own budget management for Retail campaigns including forecasting and modeling by partnering with Retail Marketing on annual budget planning to ensure key digital investments and initiatives are funded properly.
    • Work cross-functionally across the organization and clearly communicate with cross functional teams including Retail Marketing, Sales, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, and Digital Products to execute campaigns.
    • Develop test and learn opportunities across all media channels with aligned KPIs.
    • Submit requests for campaign creative, ensuring that assets are designed in a way to enhance the user experience and drive results based on campaign needs.
    • Own asset trafficking for all Local and Retail seasonal campaigns.
    • Assist in managing the monthly retail dashboard, ensuring data is clean and ready to be passed to agency partners, and reporting out on KPIs to all stakeholders on the broader marketing and sales team.
    • Assist in developing and managing quarterly budget plans and monthly targets, keeping all internal planning documents up to date, and accurately tracked based on business flows.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or similar required.
    • 2+ years of related experience in digital marketing. Experience in paid social, programmatic media and other digital tactics required. Experience working at an ad agency preferred.
    • Must be comfortable working with an agency + retail partners + cross-functional teams. Experience with agency and vendor management a plus.
    • Experience working with retailers, or on a consumer brand, a plus.
    • Experience working on Amazon Marketplace or within SEM, a plus.
    • Understanding of cross-channel marketing tactics.
    • Ability to efficiently analyze data and tell its story to stakeholders.
    • Creative and brings new ideas for how we can reach new runners in surprising and compelling ways
    • Demonstrates the ability to generate and present well-considered plans, ideas, and solutions
    • Proactive and highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented and goal driven mindset, while juggling multiple projects successfully

Compensation:
The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $64,170 - $96,255 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
