Your Job:
The eCommerce Analytics Manager is responsible for leading and managing the digital analytics team, delivering strategic thought leadership, challenging the norm, and building an analytics center of excellence for our internal stakeholders.
 
You will develop/build on our ecommerce analytics strategy and build an analytics roadmap to align with our enterprise priorities as well as the ever-changing digital landscape. You will relentlessly pursue the democratization of data at Brooks, empowering partners to leverage data-driven decision-making whenever possible. The ideal candidate has a history of working with cross-functional partners to provide strategic guidance on KPIs, reporting, and analyses that drive action. Being successful in this role means going beyond the numbers and looking at the story, using your background and passion for eCommerce, Digital Marketing, and website experience to deliver insights that enable our aggressive growth targets.
 
The eCommerce Analytics Manager directly manages the Senior eCommerce Analyst, as well as our analytics agency, responsible for coaching and developing both to drive the program forward.
 

Your Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Digital Analytics team to be a center of excellence that drives progressive thinking, expertise, and data-driven decision making
    • Accountable for the delivery and integrity of all eCommerce reporting and insights, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on revenue and KPIs
    • Consult on key business projects by educating business stakeholders and partners on best practices, KPIs, etc. to achieve desired outcomes based on data. Review eCommerce business cases and assist with ROI modeling
    • Present actionable data insights to business owners and executives that help drive the business towards aggressive growth. Coalesce the insights into actionable data-driven recommendations that ladder up to the larger strategy and vision for the business unit and company
    • Develop standardized analyses that help the organization understand customer behavior and business results against top KPIs. Educate partners on tools and analyses to enable democratization of data across the organization including marketing, digital products, customer support and sales functions
    • Responsible for developing the analytics strategy, roadmap, and team to analyze and report on customer journey, friction points, and opportunities based on the Brooks business, consumers, calendar, and market
    • Develop a delivery model for generating ad hoc reports and related insights that enables the organization to be agile and responsive to new opportunities
    • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for maximizing our marketing dollars and our website experience to achieve our overall business growth plans
    • Dive deep into web analytics to develop insights and recommendations that lead to improved website conversion rates, time on site, bounce rate, retention, and overall business performance
    • Perform cross-category analytics including digital and offline media, website experience, CRM, and product sales data to create a holistic view of both our customers and our business
    • Lead the development of predictive modeling based on current performance to determine future outcomes based on “what if” scenarios
    • Use Brooks’ customer data platform to understand our runners’ shopping behaviors, buying trends, product trends, retention, loyalty, lifetime value, and more. Create audience segments to connect with runners at the right time with relevant content
    • Lead the team in building out a zero and 1st party data strategy and plan, ranging from runner profile analytics to digital marketing usage
    • Accountable for managing routine maintenance of analytics ecosystem to ensure data integrity
    • Create digital attribution models to improve marketing spend and determine marketing channel prioritization
    • Stay apprised of marketing, site, experimentation, and feature calendars and lead team, agency and self to proactively deliver performance recaps and insights to inform on future plans
    • Manage Senior eCommerce Analyst and analytics agency, inspiring and coaching to high performance. Act as a gatekeeper and advocate for the team

Qualifications:

    • 7+ years’ experience in web and digital analytics best practices and programs
    • 2+ years’ experience managing direct reports in the analytics field
    • Demonstrated ability to present insights and recommendations in clear, thoughtful ways to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
    • Deep understanding of how media, CRM tactics, loyalty, ecommerce funnels and product mix all work together to drive optimal customer relationship with a brand and drive desired business results
    • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
    • Ability to validate analyses, reports, and underlying data, and collaborate with developers to resolve any reporting system data integrity issues
    • Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary
    • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots”
    • Strong project management skills: ability to work through ambiguity with minimal oversight
    • Independent accountability to deliver high quality analytics products to the business
    • Highly developed written, spoken, and visual communication skills

    • Proven, advanced ability to deliver insights from Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
    • Strong understanding of and experience with website tagging tools (i.e. Tealium, GTM, etc.)
    • Experience working with website performance tools such as ContentSquare (heat/journey- mapping) and Optimizely (CRO)
    • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and Customer Data Platforms preferred
    • Experience working with a cloud-based data warehouse to access data (Snowflake, etc.) preferred
Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $108,403 - $162,605 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
