Your Job:

The Senior eCommerce Analyst is crucial to the ongoing success and improvement of Brooksrunning.com and related channels. They have a passion for eCommerce businesses and take pride in relentlessly mining data for opportunities to drive business outcomes.
 
Every day will look different as you keep apprised of key performance metrics (KPIs) while also responding to stakeholder needs based on specific business projects. You will be responsible for delivering cadenced reporting on the state of the eCommerce business, as well as website and channel performance that dives beyond the “what” into the “why” to help move the needle for Brooks. While much of this role involves retroactive reporting on performance, proactively keeping a pulse on KPIs and responding in real time with your channel and eCommerce partners is key to the success of this role.
 
The ideal candidate has a strong history of reporting on eCommerce performance for brands, with proven ability to deliver concise, meaningful, and actionable recommendations. This requires a solid understanding and passion for website experience and metrics that allow you to connect the dots between multiple data points (and even systems) to tell a thorough story. The Senior eCommerce Analyst role is extremely cross-functional, needing to flex communication and deliverables with a variety of different stakeholders (IT, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Merchandising, BI, Product). Your Responsibilities:

    • Develop insights and recommendations from website performance reporting that leads to improved customer experience and conversion
    • Generate reports, dashboards and derive related insights that enable the ecommerce team to be agile and responsive to new opportunities
    • Leverage full suite of analytics tools to create whole picture of customer journey, friction points, and opportunities
    • Deliver routine (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reporting that dives deep into business drivers including digital marketing, merchandising, product, and CRO efforts
    • Formalize and standardize customer reporting metrics for key eCommerce and digital marketing segments to inform on value to business, including predictive modeling for predictive lifetime value
    • Stay apprised of marketing, site, and feature calendars and proactively deliver performance recaps to inform on future plans
    • Leverage segmentation, data visualization, and other analytics tactics to go beyond surface level reporting and drive impact
    • Identify opportunities to enable cross functional teams to self-serve with standardized reporting across suite of products
    • Perform cross-category and full-funnel analytics (including digital and offline media, site experience, CRM, CRO, product) to provide insights that drive business decisions
    • Support creation of business cases for new functionality, projects, or initiatives based on historical data, trends, and modeling
    • Demonstrate an intense curiosity to learn the Brooks business, consumer, and market to strengthen insights
    • Prioritize inbound requests, using business context and collaboration with stakeholders to determine the order in which to approach problems
    • Support routine maintenance of analytics ecosystem to ensure data integrity

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience working in eCommerce analytics with proven ability to deliver analysis with clear takeaways and recommendations
    • Proven, advanced ability to deliver insights from Adobe Analytics
    • Experience working with website performance tools such as ContentSquare (heat/journey- mapping) and Optimizely (CRO)
    • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and Customer Data Platforms preferred
    • Experience working with a cloud-based data warehouse to access data (Snowflake, etc.) preferred
    • Knowledge of digital marketing acquisition, conversion optimization, and loyalty best practices
    • Ability to validate analyses, reports, and underlying data, and collaborate with developers to resolve any reporting system data integrity issues
    • Strong project management skills: ability to work through ambiguity with minimal oversight
    • Independent accountability to deliver high quality analytics products to the business
    • Highly developed written, spoken, and visual communication skills
    • Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary

Compensation:

The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $96,358 - $144,538 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
