The Los Angeles Brotherhood Crusade is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1968 to enrich the lives of youth, seniors, homeless populations, economically disadvantaged families, and under-served individuals in South Los Angeles by providing and facilitating a variety of essential educational services, social services, cultural activities, vocational opportunities and economic empowerment opportunities.

The LCSW will work with individual YouthSource Center participants to conduct in-depth case management “needs assessments” that identify individual client needs and provide support options that can help them. Creating individualized care plans for each client and referring clients when necessary to community resources to help their specific situations. Collaborating with other YouthSource Center Case Managers and care providers to coordinate services. The LCSW will monitor participants, maintain records of treatment and services. This position also entails responding to crisis situations when necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•             Assess client needs and oversee implementation of services for each client
•             Support clients with everyday problems related to mental health, behavioral issues and emotional problems
•             Complete case plans and other documentation using requisite documentation and  follow established protocol
•             Track client progress and matriculation through YouthSource Center programming and developmental activities
•             Provide and maintain appropriate client data and files
•             Participate in staff meetings, trainings, sessions and other programs as requested
•             Assist in program evaluation
•             Handle crisis and/or emergency situations as needed
•             Provide transportation vouchers and other supportive services
•             Assist in development and coordination of special assignments and programs
•             Work closely with the YouthSource Center staff to include Job Developers and Case Managers in keeping open communication and interaction to meet customer satisfaction and job placement goals for participants
•             Attend to clients as the point of entry to the YouthSource Center
•             Perform other related work as required
  
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
•             Licensed Clinical Social Worker degree, MSW
•             Training in Social and Emotional Learning
•             Bilingual/Spanish a plus
•             3 years’ experience providing case management services
•             2 years working in a non-profit organization or similar environment
•             Must have a valid driver license, clean driving record and own personal transportation Related Experience:
•             1-2 years’ leadership experience working with community social service and health organizations strongly preferred
•             2-3 years’ experience working with high-risk youth or out of school youth Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
•             Excellent problem-solving skills
•             Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
•             Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
•             Ability to work seamlessly in a team environment
•             Ability work comfortably with people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, different creative and technical disciplines
•             Ability to maintain a professional attitude, and confidentiality at all times

•             Numerical Aptitude - Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; to add, subtract, multiply, divide
$95,000 - $105,000 a year
Salary will be based on education, experience, skills and the needs of the organization.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid California Driver's License.

Due to our in-person and in office work with LAUSD, City of LA, County of LA and other work partners that require our team to be vaccinated we require that all potential candidates must be COVID-19 vaccinated with either, Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson.

WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND EQUIPMENT USED
The successful candidate will be required to report to and work from the office complex at least five days a week. Offices are traditionally equipped with computers, telephones, desks, chairs, and office machines. Additionally, each office offers an instructional classroom from which orientations and trainings are conducted.

SALARY RANGE:
Benefits and salary will be negotiated based on experience, education, and the needs of the program.

Must be available to work Monday- Friday from 9:00am – 5:30pm.
