Bumble Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the end-to-end go-to-market process for feature launches, ensuring seamless alignment across marketing, product, content design, analytics and other key teams. This role is critical in developing positioning, messaging, and creative strategies that resonate with Bumble's diverse user base, driving adoption, engagement, and retention.
As a strategic leader, you will define the marketing scope for launches, craft compelling narratives based on user insights, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful campaigns. This position plays a key role in shaping how Bumble innovates and connects with its users.
This role is hybrid in Austin, TX or New York City.
What you'll do
- Strategic Planning
- Confirm the full scope of new features, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Engineering, etc.).
- Determine the level of marketing amplification required, including the intensity and breadth of campaign efforts
- Establish clear roles, deliverables, and timelines for all cross-functional teams
- Messaging Development
- Define research goals to gather insights (e.g., user feedback, competitor analysis)
- Collaborate with the Product team to align research findings with feature positioning and user understanding
- Identify key user segments relevant to the feature and create personas that highlight their pain points and opportunities
- Develop differentiated messaging strategies, leveraging competitive analysis to enhance the feature’s value proposition
- Creative Development
- Finalize creative briefs, including messaging, target audiences, and channel strategy.
- Lead the development and localization of marketing assets (e.g., UA, CRM, ASO, Social, Comms) in collaboration with design and content teams
- Conduct regular reviews and feedback loops to ensure all assets align with the go-to-market strategy
- Secure final approvals on all assets from marketing, product, and leadership teams
- GTM Strategy
- Define usability and feature adoption testing goals and scenarios
- Establish success criteria for the go/no-go decision, ensuring cross-functional alignment
- Review test results to assess product readiness for full launch
- Host a GTM kick-off meeting to align on timelines, tasks, and launch responsibilities with all stakeholders
- Execute the feature launch across all planned marketing channels, ensuring a seamless experience
- Monitor real-time performance data and adjust strategies as needed during launch week
- Measurement & Iteration
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption rate, engagement, and retention immediately post-launch
- Leverage data to refine messaging and campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and impact
About you
- Product Marketing Expertise: 5-7+ years of experience in consumer product marketing, with a proven track record of leading go-to-market strategies for new features or products.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional alignment and develop detailed GTM strategies from concept to launch.
- Consumer Insights: Experience in using data and research to craft user personas and develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Messaging and Positioning: Strong ability to develop compelling messaging and narratives for diverse user segments.
- Campaign Management: Hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns (e.g., Brand, Influencer, CRM, Social, ASO) with measurable success.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to define and track KPIs, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent project management and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution.
- A passion for understanding and solving consumer needs through innovative product solutions
- A user-first mindset, ensuring every campaign resonates deeply with Bumble’s diverse and dynamic audience

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
$119,000 - $147,000 a year
Base Compensation Range: $119 - $147K. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
