As a Senior Trust & Safety Analyst within Trust & Safety organization, you'll be part of a highly technical team responsible for investigating abuse patterns, analyzing behavioral signals, and developing scalable detection systems that remove harmful users at speed and scale.
You’ll work across data, safety, and engineering to discover and shut down attacks from fraud farms to commercial spam to scaled impersonation by transforming raw indicators into productionised proactive enforcement. Your work directly impacts members every day.
What you’ll do:
- Drive platform threat detection and incident response, identifying and closing detection gaps across Bumble Inc products
- Analyze behavioural and system level data to surface emerging abuse patterns and implement scalable mitigation logic
- Collaborate with moderation, policy, and engineering teams to escalate high-risk threats and address systemic vulnerabilities
- Act as a technical lead on abuse detection, providing cross functional insight and guidance on platform safety risks
- Build durable mitigations by developing fingerprinting signals and features that detect abusive behaviour at scale
- Investigate incidents and contribute to strategic threat intelligence planning and long-term detection roadmaps
- Maintain and evolve detection coverage across core abuse categories
- Share knowledge through code reviews, documentation, and team collaboration, while communicating impact to stakeholders
Minimum requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Anti-Abuse, Threat Detection, or a related technical safety domain
- Strong experience with data technologies used in analytics (e.g. MySQL, Kafka, Presto, Pinot, or equivalents)
- Strong proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Lua or Go
- Proven ability to write, update, and maintain detection rules, algorithms, or mitigation models
- Demonstrated skill in identifying and analyzing emerging abuse tactics, with experience communicating insights to varied audiences
- Familiarity with user fingerprinting, device signal analysis, or behavioural clustering methods
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, product teams, moderators, and policy stakeholders
- Comfortable working in ambiguity; able to drive investigations and prioritise effectively in high-pressure environments
- Understanding of threat actors, abuse patterns, and threat intelligence; direct experience remediating abuse or security incidents is a plus

$185,000 - $197,500 a year
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
