As an Advertising Account Manager you’ll be one of the first hires on our newly formed Advertising Commercial Strategy team.  This ad sales team is tasked with driving in-app monetization growth by enabling premium, innovative advertising partnerships across Bumble Inc. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Advertising Account Manager to support our scaling direct ads business and help drive Bumble Inc.’s commercial growth through direct advertising revenue within the Bumble Inc Portfolio. 

You'll work closely with the ad sales team and brand & agency clients to enable revenue generation through strategic campaign creation and execution, closely supporting Account Executives from pre-sale to post sale duties.  The role will primarily focus on creating campaigns that will deliver strong ROI, managing clients from pre to post sale and acting as a strategic and creative counterpart to sales account leads, ensuring we are delivering upon client goals and simultaneously building a long-standing advertising platform at Bumble Inc.  This person will be responsible for working closely with the ads team to manage a large, dynamic book of business and be the strategic counterpart to the account executive.

Location: This role is remote and open to U.S. applicants who reside in either NYC or Austin, Texas.

What You'll Be Doing:

    • Support advertising revenue growth by supporting Advertising Sales team & account executives from pre-sale to post-sale cycles
    • AM will work closely with Account Executives on strategic proposal ideation, media plan creation, campaign management and execution, and supporting on post campaign analysis reports 
    • Will interface with key XFN stakeholders to create and deliver advertising solutions to brands, launching, monitoring and working with campaign management to optimize live campaigns
    • Will lead on post sales analysis, working cross functionally to deliver comprehensive & strategic wrap reports and leverage data to inform future ad sales platform strategy 
    • Directly interface with clients during campaign to co-manage  client and agency communications for campaign performance in partnership with account executives 
    • Support Account Executives on any relevant in-person meetings/pitches in-market to agencies and clients direct Support on  resolving day-to-day operational issues to minimize campaign or revenue blockers. 
    • Assist in the build out of external sales enablement materials - insights, narratives, presentations, etc. that will support business growth and advertiser education across a new and emerging offering
    • Work with Product, Marketing, Comms, Legal, Finance and Engineering teams to ensure a collaborative and cross-functional approach.

Who You Are:

    • Strong experience in media planning and strategic proposal creation as you will lead on building media plans and client proposals Able to prioritize duties and work cross functionally within a global organization. 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
    • Proven results in a client-facing role; ability to build strong relationshipsBackground working closely with both internal and external agency and client partners
    • Background working on a newly developed ad platform or selling new and emerging ad solutions. 
    • Strong knowledge of the advertising space, mobile apps, and digital marketing practices, with experience across both direct and programmatic channels. 
    • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environmentAble to simplify complex issues and create innovative solutions given set resources
    • Strategic thinker, problem-solver and valued collaborator with a scrappy mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and team
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience 2-4+ years of experience in digital media sales or account management
    • Strong understanding of the media and creative agency landscape
    • Strong media planning & proposal building skillsFluent in G-Suite, PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
    • Fluent in disseminating data and insights for brand lift studies (Kantar, Nielsen)Experience in fast-growing companies and navigating ambiguity
    • Sufficient in advertising metrics and comfortable with interpreting and explaining performance to clients
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail, highly organized

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
Base Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
