You will be responsible for developing and executing culturally resonant campaigns and brand experiences that strengthen Bumble’s relevance and impact across key markets. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of culture, this role will play a key part in embedding Bumble into the moments, movements, and communities that matter most.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in identifying and translating cultural energy into thoughtful, high-impact marketing initiatives that drive both conversation and brand growth. This role requires someone who not only has a strong pulse on pop culture, digital movements, and influence—but also possesses the operational rigor to manage marketing programs end-to-end and effectively communicate across internal and external partners.
You’ll work in close collaboration with cross-functional partners—including Creative, Influencer, Social, Growth, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Communications—to bring Integrated Marketing programs to life that are as impactful as they are culturally in tune.
What You'll Do
- Lead Integrated, Culturally Resonant Campaigns: Partner with creative and influencer agencies to concept and execute full-funnel campaigns that don’t just perform—they spark conversation and shape culture
- Curate Influence-Led Brand Moments: Strategically build guest lists and cultural partnerships that reflect social relevance, and aspirational alignment
- Drive Cultural Relevance at Scale: Infuse brand strategy with trend intelligence, subcultural fluency, and a sixth sense for what’s next across pop culture, fashion, music, and the internet
- Architect Breakthrough Events: Consult on experiential concepts, venue selection, guest list strategy, and post-event amplification to ensure every event hits the right cultural and brand notes
- Activate in Key Cultural Hubs: Leverage tastemakers in key US cities to elevate brand visibility and social momentum
- Operate at the Speed of Culture: Thrive in fast-moving, trend-driven environments with a strong bias toward action, innovation, and cultural relevance
- Bridge Strategy and Creativity: Combine high taste with smart strategy to craft brand work that balances cool with commercial impact
About you
- Cultural Leadership: Lives at the intersection of fashion, music, internet trends, and emerging movements; naturally tuned into what’s current and what’s next
- Event Concepting & Execution: Skilled in developing and advising on high-impact experiences—from ideation and venue curation to partnerships and amplification
- Creative & Influencer Collaboration: Proven ability to co-create with agencies and partners to deliver meaningful, culture-shaping brand moments
- Trend Forecasting & Insight: Brings instinct and insight to identify nascent movements before they break, grounding brand work in future-facing relevance
- Strategic Taste-Maker: Balances aspirational aesthetics with data-backed decisions; known for a high taste level that aligns with both cool and commercial imperatives
- City-Specific Cultural Acumen: Deeply connected in cultural epicenters; understands how to localize influence while scaling brand visibility
- Agile & Impact-Oriented: Comfortable operating in high-velocity environments with an eye for cultural nuance and a bias toward action
- Passionate about Bumble’s brand vision and values
- Strong understanding of social networking, dating, or digital-first platforms
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to anticipate needs
- Positive, adaptable, and highly detail-oriented
- Able to work under tight deadlines while balancing short- and long-term priorities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic ambitions
- A self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude who thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
