As part of this mission, Bumble is seeking an Integrity Operations Manager to lead its Scaled Abuse function. This team plays a critical role in safeguarding platform authenticity and preventing harmful interactions before they occur.

You will be responsible for managing the operational engine that protects our members from scaled harms such as spam, scams, fraud, inauthentic behavior, and other forms of manipulative abuse. This role leads a combination of internal team members and vendor moderators focused on proactive enforcement. You will:

- Own moderation queues and workflows tied to scaled abuse.
- Define quality standards and drive continuous improvement across proactive moderation systems.
- Partner with Trust Tech, Product, and Policy to improve detection models and enforcement tooling.
- Lead change in how Bumble evaluates and disrupts ecosystem-level threats.

This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy, execution, and team development.

This role is based in Austin, US and may require participation in on-call rotations (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of full-time and vendor moderators working on scaled enforcement. Create a high-accountability culture rooted in integrity, inclusion, and growth.
    • Operational Excellence: Design and optimize workflows, queue logic, and reviewer guidelines to ensure scalable, defensible decisions that align with our Community Guidelines.
    • Tooling Partnership: Define operational requirements for internal tooling; collaborate closely with engineering and product managers to evolve systems that support enforcement at scale.
    • Strategic Insight: Analyze trends in policy violations and actor behaviors to identify opportunities for enforcement improvements and automation.
    • Quality and Risk Management: Track operational metrics, identify process gaps, and proactively mitigate risks. Partner with QA and L&D to maintain excellence and consistency.
    • Cross-Functional Influence: Act as a thought partner to stakeholders in Trust ML, Product, Engineering, and Policy. Ensure the Scaled Abuse function is aligned with company-wide safety initiatives.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • 5–7 years of experience in Trust & Safety or abuse operations, with 2+ years of direct people management.
    • Strong knowledge of spam, scams, fraud, or integrity violations on digital platforms.
    • Experience managing vendor teams and optimizing BPO performance.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects.
    • Analytical fluency and comfort using data to drive strategy.
    • Experience shaping or evolving operational workflows and tooling.
    • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and influencing without authority.
    • Multilingual skills (e.g. Spanish, French) are a plus.

$128,000 - $130,000 a year
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
