Join our community! We’re looking for a highly motivated and energetic Account Executive to communicate with potential residents that have expressed interest in a Bungalow home both over the phone and through email. This is a sales position that carries the responsibility of handling inbound inquiries from potential residents all the way through signing the lease. You will be interacting with hundreds of contacts on a weekly basis, speaking to them about their apartment or room search, what they are looking for in roommates, and how Bungalow may be the perfect fit for them. You will also be responsible for screening applications, managing roommate introductions with the ultimate goal of signing leases and filling homes. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well funded start-up on the ground floor.
What you will do:
- Communicate with potential residents to understand the challenges people face while searching for apartments or room shares, and explain the benefits of working with Bungalow
- Answer general questions and overcome objections from potential and existing residents via phone and email
- Prequalify residents by determining a potential resident’s likelihood of joining a Bungalow residence and the best homes for them to see based on their preferences
- Outbound calling (80-100 calls per day) and following up with potential residents to encourage them to complete a lease application
- Confirming and screening applications as they are submitted
- Managing the roommate introductions and approvals/denials
- Completing the sales cycle by managing all leases signed
Who you are:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience (this is an entry-level position with the potential for promotion into a management position)
- Bachelor’s degree with strong track record of leadership and collaboration
- Outgoing, positive-energy, and enjoys talking with people (role is heavy phone-based)
- Willingness to roll up their sleeves and dig in to help drive our business forward
- Strong interest in solving the unaffordable housing crisis facing millennials
- Excitement to get in on the ground floor at one of the most exciting and fastest growing companies solving a real problem
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, start-up environment
- Fluent written and verbal English
