What you will do:

    • Monthly preparation of bank reconciliations and three-way trust reconciliations for 40+ trust accounts in AppFolio
    • Resolution of accounting diagnostics in AppFolio to ensure that the AppFolio is calculating homeowner payouts correctly
    • Proper recording of accounting entries related to tenant transfers between units, and other one-off issue resolution in AppFolio
    • Reconciliation of homeowner payout calculations in AppFolio to ensure accurate payout amounts
    • Timely review and payout of tenant security deposit and other overpayment refunds
    • Review of homeowner refund and concession requests from Operations team and booking of necessary adjustments in AppFolio

Who you are:

    • 3+ years of accounting experience
    • Strong Excel Skills, required
    • Strong Appfolio Experience, required
    • Experience with Quickbooks, preferred
    • Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as impeccable attention to details
    • Ability to multi-task and handle several deadlines simultaneously
