Buoy is based in Boston and was founded in 2014.

Buoy Health is hiring a part-time (~10 hours a week) Employee Benefits Communications Specialist to work alongside our Marketing and Client Success teams. As employers implement Buoy to their employees, we are looking for expertise to oversee, develop and expand our communication strategy. This position will be a temporary contract position, with potential to grow into a larger role long-term depending on the needs of the business; however, individuals looking for a purely contract position are also encouraged to apply.

Build a holistic communication strategy to maximize employee engagement in our product
Create launch materials to drive excitement in the new benefit as well as any supporting guides, FAQs, etc. during implementation
Create communication calendars unique to each employer client
Draft and review employee facing communications (email, postcards, intranet postings, videos, table tents, social media, etc.)
Creative, well written, works well with teams but can get things done independently

Experience with employee benefits consulting, HR consulting
Have worked directly in HR or Benefits and responsible for employee facing messages
Have a background in engaging employees in benefits and understand the different personas within a workforce
5+ years of experience directly related to benefits communication
