About us:

BURGA — one of a kind non-traditional fashion brand that’s taking the world by storm — is looking for an RnD Engineer!

We take everyday boring items and, with a bit of magic and extreme imagination, turn them into the lifestyle & fashion accessories people are psyched to use.

If you become a part of BURGA, two things are certain. First, you will be surrounded by a team who all share the same passion for fashion, the urge to achieve, and the desire to grow. Second, you'll never use "boring" and "job" in the same sentence again. An extremely versatile and fast-paced environment will make sure of that – new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.‍

As an R&D Engineer, you will play a key role in developing new products and enhancing existing ones. We are seeking an open-minded and innovative individual who is passionate about creating groundbreaking products. Moreover, you will have the chance to design and conduct tests to ensure our products and new technologies meet the highest standards, and you'll be involved in recommending performance and quality requirements. Join our team and contribute to shaping the future of our products!

- Collaborate closely with product owners and cross-functionally engage with relevant departments;
- Support project feasibility research and testing from the initial project concept stage. This involves assessing resource availability, materials, technologies, compliance, printing viability, and more;
- Take ownership of understanding and interpreting test requirements, designing and executing meticulous test methodologies, and documenting the process;
- Play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement of our lab processes;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest methods and theories, turning them into practical solutions for our applications;
- Develop a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) aligned with the product concept;
- Assist in constructing prototypes and managing/executing 3D printing processes;
- Revise CAD files to meet product requirements and provide valuable suggestions for enhancing the drawings;
- Possess knowledge of and adhere to 5S standards.

- +2 years of work experience in the RnD department, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices;
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to conduct thorough root cause analysis and effectively troubleshoot issues that arise;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders;
- A strong desire to continuously learn and explore new ideas, coupled with an open-minded approach that embraces innovative solutions;
- The ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments and evolving processes, demonstrating resilience and a flexible mindset;
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Fusion CAD software (or other similar technical CAD software, willing to learn fast to transition into Fusion);
- A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering field.
