ABOUT THE POSITION
Compliance Lawyer at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: be the guardian of BURGA’s global compliance, ensuring our fast-growing business operates with precision, integrity, and foresight. You’ll navigate complex regulations across multiple markets, building systems that keep us ahead of legal and industry requirements. From safeguarding our trademarks and patents to ensuring product safety, trade compliance, and GDPR standards, your expertise will protect the brand while enabling bold growth. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll balance legal rigor with business agility, keeping BURGA compliant, competitive, and future-ready.
What You Will Do
- Monitor regulatory changes in all markets where BURGA operates.
- Develop and implement compliance systems across business areas.
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Manage BURGA’s patents, trademarks, and design registrations.
- Ensure product safety compliance (e.g., CE marking).
- Oversee international trade, customs, and export control compliance.
- Implement GDPR and data protection standards.
- Ensure consumer protection and e-commerce law compliance.
- Monitor environmental regulations and supplier compliance.
- Maintain manufacturing compliance documentation.
What We Expect
- 3+ years of experience in compliance law (preferably e-commerce, consumer goods, or tech).
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, consumer protection, e-commerce, and trade compliance.
- Experience with intellectual property (patents, designs, trademarks).
- Skilled in compliance audits and legal research tools (including AI solutions).
- Quick, proactive, precise, and accountable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
SALARY: 2800 - 3500 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
