Bustle Digital Group is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing revenue operations team. This position will execute sold media campaigns and work closely with the Sales Planning, Ad Ops, Account Executives and branded editorial teams. This role will facilitate management of all aspects of the campaign during the post-sale cycle providing an end-to-end experience for Bustle’s advertiser/agency partners. The Account Manager is ultimately responsible for orchestrating internal resources to ensure campaign expectations and contractual obligations are met; as well as, acting as customer advocate and liaise between client and Bustle Sales, Ops and Editorial teams.

Responsibilities

    • Work closely with our branded content, video and design teams to manage timelines, relay client feedback and help bring to life a variety of custom content executions for our advertisers, which includes branded articles, branded articles with custom photography or custom illustrations or branded videos
    • Use our project management software, Basecamp, to manage all branded content projects
    • Partner closely with video production, branded content and Ad Ops teams to gain internal approval and production development timelines
    • Work closely with Ad Ops to monitor creative implementation, flawless execution and full delivery
    • Build customer relationships and provide excellent custom service while acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle
    • Analyze performance of campaigns with Ad Ops to ensure KPIs are achieved and optimized against
    • Conduct introductory Kick off Calls and mid-campaign performance communication for all campaigns to understand campaign KPIs, communicate contracted deliverables and progress to customers’ goals and provide optimization recommendations
    • Communicate performance metrics achieved at the end of each campaign by building Recap Decks that are submitted to clients post campaign to help Account Executives gain repeat business
    • Coordinate with our design team and rich media vendors to facilitate the design and build of rich media ad units

Qualifications

    • BA or equivalent
    • 2-4 years digital media, account management, media planning, or relevant agency experience
    • Detail oriented and highly organized
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Tenacious and proven ability to execute sales campaigns
    • Advertising or publishing media company experience
    • Video production and/or branded content execution experience
