Bustle Digital Group is seeking a full-time Manager to join Elite Daily’s Snapchat Discover team. Publishing Monday through Friday, Elite Daily’s Discover Channel has become BDG’s fastest growing platform. From celebrity coverage to relationships and beauty, we provide millions of daily users with entertaining content in their most preferred social app.

The ideal team member will have an obsession with digital media and be nimble and eager to stay two steps ahead of evolving best practices on the Snap platform. We are looking for someone with a passion for developing content through a data driven approach, with a focus on increasing engagement and growth of the Elite Daily Snapchat Discover audience. Attention to detail, great people skills, a positive attitude and persistence in creating the best content are needed to publish editions that are consistently special and highly shareable. We publish entire editions 5x per week (Mon-Fri) and are looking for people who love a fast-paced, collaborative workflow. Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the strategy, content creation for the Elite Daily Snapchat Discover channel
    • Collaborate with the team’s Sr. Manager to visually shape storytelling in daily editions
    • Strategize, implement and track Snap feedback, guidelines and platform updates  for channel in real time
    • Must be responsive to guard against performance dips and adjust strategy informed by data and insights
    • Responsible for sourcing all image assets and clearing with legal if necessary
    • Selection of all music and motion graphics to tell engaging Snap stories
    • Direct motion graphics lead in how to optimize animations to best meet Snap KPIs (could be time spent, swipe ups, subscribe, etc. KPIs change as Snap’s platform evolves)
    • Coordinate internal assets across key social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and any other essential platforms
    • Ensure visual identity of ED Snap channel is consistent with the ED site
    • Publish editions into the Snap platform tool
    • Pull Snap platform data and provide weekly update reports for internal executive distribution
    • Collaborate with BDG Business Development team on engagement with the Snapchat platform team
    • Support Sr. Manager as needed

Requirements

    • 1-2 years experience with social media, heavy emphasis on Snapchat
    • Familiarity with best practices for Snapchat Discover
    • Ability to communicate, monitor insights and use data to enhance content offerings
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, In Design, & Keynote
