Bustle Digital Group is seeking a remote West Coast Ad Operations Manager  to join our operations team. This individual will play a critical role in the ops team and have several functions relating to campaign setup, management and support. This Individual will also be instrumental in growing the operations teams, taking on a leadership and training roll. This is an ideal role for an organized, detail oriented, self-starter with and ad operations background.
 
This role will be remote and expected to work west coast hours.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires and their success in managing campaigns
    • Manage large budget campaigns for high profile/renewal clients
    • Assist director in prioritizing campaign assignments on a daily basis to accomplish campaign delivery objectives and even workload amongst the team
    • Assist in motivating and coaching direct reports to meet and exceed expectations and track direct reports growth
    • Assist the director in developing and maintaining operational relationships with new and existing vendors used for display media execution
    • Become well versed and capable to assist in answering questions for in all internal and external technologies that is currently used by BDG Media 
    • This includes, but not limited to, our ad server, CMS, Quantcast, Celtra, STAQ, Operative One
    • Partner with account management, programmatic, finance, outsourced teams and audience development  to drive best-in-class processes and documentation for execution and billing
    • Use data to drive product decisions and analyze the success
    • Identify and present new opportunities for revenue generation in the display media space
    • Meet regularly with the teams AdOps works with for status updates, areas of opportunity, and attention
    • Implement and enforce processes that enable the team to scale and work efficiently
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Understand the latest industry trends and use cases surrounding the use of data and be a champion of best practices in the industry
    • Be the main ops point of contact for Canadian sales firm
    • This includes, but not limited to approving Canadian orders in DFP, looking at avails and answering any ops related questions

Requirements

    • 3+ years of Ad Operations experience
    • Publisher-facing ad ops experience a plus
    • Additional revenue operations, inventory management, or business analyst background preferred
    • Strongly Preferred:
    • GAM Admin experience
    • Competent in IAB specs, VAST/VPAID, and various rich media vendors
    • Experience training new team members and managing a minimum of one
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
    • Self-starter
    • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels in the organization, both written and verbally
    • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
    • Competent in IAB T&Cs
